Henry was found as a stray and surprisingly no one came forward to claim this sweet husky. Because of this, little is known about his previous life but he came to us with decent leash walking skills. Henry also has manners while riding in the car and knew how to sit and shake. Henry is a smart and active guy who would benefit from continuing his rewards-based training and regular enrichment to help him reach his full potential. While he's been with us Henry has shown he loves cuddling up with his people, going for walks, playing games like fetch, wrestling with dog friends, chewing toys, and spending time in the backyard. He would enjoy having an active family/person who can provide daily exercise and wants to include their dog in regular on-leash adventures. Henry is also a cuddle bug who loves to relax and get chest rubs while curled up on the couch next to you. You get the best of both worlds with this guy! While Henry has lived with dogs of various sizes since being found, his play style can be too much for some friends. He would do best with similarly sized dogs who enjoy a wrestling and mouthing style of play and are content sharing their toys. Henry has not been around children, cats, or small animals since being found. He could potentially do okay with older kids that are experienced with dogs who can jump and mouth when excited, but he has some chase drive and could potentially make cats uncomfortable. Overall, Henry is a very sweet, yet enthusiastic guy who just wants his own family or person to love. Please email email@example.com if you would like an application or more information.
Henry is a sweetie...says his vet.
