Kaiya

Kaiya is between 1-2 years old, looking for a fun family.

Hi…my name is Kaiya.

I think I am a Husky and a Malamute. I will be two this year. It is my dream to be with someone that loves me. I promise to love you back forever. I got lost or maybe left behind by accident. I didn’t have food or water and it was scary at night. Lots of people tried to grab me and it hurt, and I was afraid.  I am good at hiding.

A woman took me home in her car. I weighed 63 pounds when we went to the doctor to get shots and a checkup. I was spayed in December so I couldn’t have any children that might be left behind. I weighed 85 pounds. I also have a microchip, so I won’t get lost again.

I am still learning manners. I used to be worried about not having food so I would use my voice to let people know. I learned to trust so I am much better but sometimes I worry and must use my voice. I am being trained in how to be a good girl so someone will want me.

I really like to run on the grass and play fetch and I like toys. I like car rides but sometimes I am afraid, and I bark out the window. I don’t make noise unless I am talking. The problem is, I still get afraid and bark at strangers. I jump on nice people because I am excited and happy. The trainer is teaching me not to do that. I like to sniff on walks and meet other dogs and people. I am a very good girl on walks, other than tugging on the leash. I will learn not to do that because I am very smart.

I didn’t know my name before I was found. Kaiya means forgiveness in Japanese.

If you would like to make me part of your family please email nwsnowdogrescue@aol.com for an application. I will be sooo very happy to have a forever family.
