Snow

Miss Snow is quite the angel, she loves the snow and to play....

Meet the most beautiful Snow. Her family needs to rehome her – please see her bio below:

Snow is a very fun-loving, high-energy dog, though she's definitely much calmer than when we first adopted her. She's mellow indoors but take her outside, and she'll be running all over the place! She is leash trained, loves car rides, and overall is an excellent adventure dog. She is very affectionate and bonds very strongly to her people! She is 6 years old, spayed, UTD on all vaccines, and is house trained. She knows several commands such as “drop it”, “lay down”, “sit”, “kennel”, etc. We used to kennel her while she was being potty-trained, but we haven’t used a kennel in years. She can be trusted alone in the house! She will not chew on anything. If you did want to use a kennel though, I think she would adjust just fine. She does well with dogs for the most part, but she does resource guard until she's comfortable with the dog. For this reason, she will need to be fed separately from other dogs.

The reason I’m rehoming her: I have some concerns about how she behaves around young children. I’m guessing she would do fine with older children who understand boundaries, but she is not a good match for toddler-aged kids. She has improved greatly with how she interacts with my daughter, but it still concerns me. I'm also just struggling to give her the time she deserves. With a toddler, another on the way, and with both my husband and me working full time, it's hard to invest in her.

Breed information: We had her DNA tested and found that she’s a 50/50 mix of Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky. She is roughly 42 pounds.
