Wetzel - Adopted
Wetzel is as wonderful as a pretzel...
Wetzel (as in pretzel) is a total dreamboat and a stellar house guest for his foster family. He’s picked up new training commands with lightning speed, walks beautifully on a leash, displays no destructive or stressed behavior when left alone during work hours, always checks in with his humans, continues to try to charm his foster’s grumpy senior dogs, and generally wants nothing more than to be a gold star pack member. He has gone out to restaurant patios and is social with everyone, lets kids gently pet him, and ignores skateboarders and rowdy people. His temporary fosters in CA had small kids, a cat, and another husky whom he adored. He would be an amazing adventure dog and cuddle buddy for any lucky person.
@appalachianK9rescue pulled him from Riverside Shelter in CA right before his deadline and sent him up to his current foster in NW Oregon. He’s 3 years old, neutered, 65lbs, has hererochromia (blue and brown eye)(aka as bi-eyed), UTD on shots and has been checked by a vet here in Oregon. His foster will assist with transport in the PNW region. He has big Soul Dog Energy—could he be yours? Please email nwsnowdogrescue@aol.comfor an application.
